Business Systems Analyst, Workday Transformation, Google Operations Center

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience designing and implementing enterprise HR systems throughout the entire life-cycle (e.g., analyze, design, build, test, deploy, and support), including experience implementing Workday HCM.
  • Experience defining and implementing operational processes in the HR systems domain, project managing cross-functional initiatives, and managing geographically distributed clients or stakeholders.
  • Experience driving goals, strategy and roadmap for enterprise systems and applications.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of project management experience, managing teams of analysts, product owners, consultants, or engineers to deliver HRM solutions.
  • Experience as an implementation consultant, with prior Workday certification and implementation experience in Workday HCM, Security, Reporting, Compensation, Recruiting, or Integrations.
  • Experience reengineering business processes and roadmaps for HR Systems, and using change management frameworks to implement HR transformations.
  • Experience influencing and aligning executive stakeholders across matrixed organizations with integrity.
  • Ability to drive clarity and sound decisions in technical environments.
  • Excellent communication and investigative skills.

About the job

In this role, you will translate GOC’s needs into technical specifications, design and develop recommended HR systems and enhancements, and consult with Google executives to ensure implementation. You will address system processes or leverage homegrown suites of Google products. You will help GOC work and more and get the most out of our Workday HCM and HR analytics platforms. You will regularly interface with Google’s Technical teams and GOC executives to drive impact for GOC and Google.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Partner with GOC leadership and cross-functional business partners to understand their business problems, processes, and data requirements; develop technology and process solutions to support GOC’s operations.
  • Work daily with engineering and HR teams across the US and APAC to design, build, deploy, and support solutions spanning Google’s internal technology and HRM applications including Workday HCM.
  • Lead systems implementation projects through requirements documentation, design, test, and deployment phases for Workday and other HR and analytics platforms. Provide subject matter expertise for Workday HCM, related integrations, and analytics applications.
  • Manage GOC’s HR Systems support processes ensuring issues and enhancements are identified, triaged, and resolved across all GOC HR systems.
  • Support HR Systems roadmap planning, prioritization, and implementation in a rapidly changing environment, driven by sound technical and business acumen, ensuring stakeholder alignment and outcomes.
