Product Manager, YouTube Jewels

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management.
  • Experience managing products with multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Experience building user-facing products with software development, and iterating to find product-market fit.
  • Experience in consumer facing product launches.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in product management, including driving product direction, defining the goal and strategy, data-driven prioritization, and go-to-market execution to deliver results from conception through launch.
  • Experience leading products for Viewers, Creators, or marketplace platforms.
  • Experience driving cross-functional initiatives involving multiple product teams.

About the job

We are looking for a Product Manager to drive strategy and roadmap for the Jewels product. Jewels are a digital item that viewers can purchase in bundles to send a variety of gifts on eligible creators’ vertical live streams. Jewels enable real-time engagement through bundle purchases, removing the need to purchase more every time viewers want to express themselves in the moment and send a gift. The vision for Jewels is to enable a vibrant ecosystem of fun and interactive experiences on YouTube.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Define the product goals, strategy, and roadmap for Jewels. 
  • Iterate towards product-market fit, and scale the product globally.
  • Design and launch features that help viewers and creators engage through Jewels powered products. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, UX, product activation, marketing, legal etc. to build, test and launch.
