Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting, or media.
  • 7 years of leadership and people management experience.
  • Experience in sales coaching, mentoring, team leadership, and delivering business goals.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish and English fluently in order to work in this customer-facing business role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience leading large teams that consist of multiple levels of management.
  • Experience in driving commercial growth.

As the Head of Sales for LCS Iberia, you will be responsible for driving Ads Sales growth for the Spanish and Portuguese markets, leading a team of over 30 Account Managers. You will develop the right strategy for customers and configure sales and specialist resources to deliver commercial growth. You will specifically lead the design and execution of the in-quarter growth plan and foster cross-organizational collaboration to deliver on it. Additionally, you'll anticipate where the industries, customers, and Google products are going.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a Business Owner for the Iberia Large Customers Sales (LCS) book of business, understanding the key drivers of business performance and plan for moving the in-quarter business ahead. Oversee identification and delivery of revenue and growth opportunities.
  • Be a key participant in the Iberia LCS leadership team, owning trading and country-wide strategic initiatives.
  • Build knowledge and stay current on the advertising industry and competitive landscape, driving thought leadership for a critical domain or multiple domains.
  • Coach teams regularly with a focus on driving customers´ incremental investment to deliver on their business objectives and maximize their returns.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to customers by taking a One-Google approach to building, growing, and maintaining long-lasting relationships. Advise on industry insights, consumer trends, and Google best practices to help strengthen and grow relationships.
