Regional Security Architect, Security Operations, Public Sector

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with Security Operations (SecOps) toolset including Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR), Threat Intelligence and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools.
  • Experience with Mandiant advantage threat intelligence or virus total in a professional setting, or supporting customers use of these tools.
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as required.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a technical field.
  • Certification in Cloud or Security Industry.
  • Experience working in a defensive cyber operations or threat intelligence role.
  • Knowledge of product and solution market trends in the cybersecurity industry (e.g., ransomware, attack frameworks, zero trust, etc.).
  • Active US Government Top Secret security clearance.

About the job

In this role, you will be helping customers derive value from cloud enabled SIEM/SOAR implementations. You will also be familiar with technologies such as Security Operations (SecOps) toolset including Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR), Threat Intelligence and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools. You will present to customer and channel executives in business and technical management.

Must be a US Citizen to meet customer and compliance requirements, including potential access to classified information.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$218,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Work with Security Sales and Google Cloud teams to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand customer technical and compliance objections, and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers.
  • Work with all Google Cloud security products to demonstrate and validate solution benefits in customer and partner environments. Maintain excellent technical knowledge.
  • Support Google Cloud security opportunities and relationships, own technical aspects of solutions, and deliver technical presentations, product and solution briefings, proofs-of-concepts, and demos to customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver product messaging in an effort to highlight our solutions value proposition using techniques including presentations, product demonstrations, white papers, trial management, and response documents.
