Program Manager, Google Arts and Culture

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of program management experience.
  • 1 year of experience managing interactive projects with artists and technologists.
  • Experience in relationship building, relationship management and stakeholder management.
  • Experience with production management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing creative technology projects internationally that include collaborations with artists and engineers.
  • Experience in project management within the creative arts sector.
  • Knowledge in technical and cultural domain.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.

About the job

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide production management of experiments created by artists in residence.
  • Manage the launch approval process, ensuring all experiments comply with legal, policy, and technical requirements across Google, and are fully documented for public release.
  • Maintain Google Arts and Culture (GAC) Lab experiments documentation and track experiment milestones.
  • Monitor and communicate progress and apply relevant best practices from Google processes and technologies to drive results.
  • Guide alignment on timelines, goals, and deliverables of projects and related teams, and escalate obstacles in a timely manner.
