Strategic Partner Manager

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in business development or partnerships in the Gaming or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
  • Experience with Ads business generation or Apps.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the changing landscape of the apps industry, product areas, other key players and how Google is differentiated from them, including technology trends and issues that affect the operations of one’s business and organization.
  • Ability to encourage and persuade senior leaders.
  • Ability to focus on the future, create new opportunities, and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to discover and prioritize customers and opportunities.
  • Ability to communicate in English and French fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

About the job

Within Global Partnerships Sellside, the Large Partner Solutions (LPS) Apps team is responsible for client relationships and business development with the largest apps developers in Europe, Middle-East and Africa, including those who use AdMob Mediation and Google Ad Manager to manage their in-app ad businesses.

We collaborate closely with PM and cross-functional stakeholders across Google to develop transformational approaches to increase our partners's usage of Google platforms, and the value they generate from them. We also support expansion into new content verticals who may not have used ads before, adding new business streams to their existing businesses.

In this role, you will cultivate and expand relationships with the most impactful app partners across the region. You'll drive opportunity identification, shape collaborative business plans, discuss win-win agreements, and advocate the development and execution of groundbreaking initiatives. You'll be a trusted C-level advisor within our partner ecosystem, adept at navigating complex discussions and securing strategic agreements. In addition you'll skillfully align partner expectations with Google's solutions and foster cross-functional collaboration to drive mutual success.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with key app partners, ensuring their success and growth with Google's platform and solutions.
  • Own the development and execution of joint business plans, identify new opportunities, and drive innovative initiatives.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with senior executives within your book of business, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate.
  • Lead complex discussions and secure strategic agreements that drive significant value for both Google and our partners.
  • Build and influence effective collaboration with internal peers and teams such as Product, Engineering and Legal, ensuring seamless execution of partner initiatives.
