Senior UX Engineer, Customer Engagement

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in front-end development, technical User Experience (UX) design, or prototyping.
  • Experience in application development in one or more platforms/areas (e.g., web, iOS, Android, CompDes, Extended Reality (XR)).

Preferred qualifications:

  • 6 years of experience as a front-end developer, UX Engineer, creative or design technologist, or in a prototyping design environment.
  • Experience with Generative AI technologies like large language models (LLMs) and models for conversation or customer service.
  • Experience in building full-stack interactive prototypes, and with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Svelte) and back-end development (e.g., Python, Node.js).
  • Experience with building or contributing to customer support tools, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or a related internal User Interfaces (UIs).
  • A portfolio of work that demonstrates the ability to solve problems and build interactive experiences.

As a UX Engineer, you'll work as part of a UX team in a challenging, fast-paced environment. You’ll demonstrate your creativity, analytical skills, and knowledge of user facing technologies to create prototypes that identify the best product experiences, launch innovative features, build tools that accelerate UX teams, bridge between design and engineering discussions, and enable efficient, high quality execution.

The team operate with turning ideas into reality through prototyping and experimentation to build the leapfrog solutions that will define the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of designers, researchers, product managers, and software engineers to conceptualize and build interactive prototypes.
  • Design and build prototypes for new agent platform integrations, agentic User Interfaces (UIs), and other tools that help agents throughout the entire support lifecycle ranging from prototypes and concept explorations to more versions.
  • Communicate and demonstrate the prototypes to stakeholders, articulating the underlying technology and the agent/customer value of the creations.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to translate concepts, promoting product roadmaps with working demos.
  • Identify opportunities and build tools that accelerate the team's design, research and development.
