Product Activation Manager, Partner Sales, YouTube

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.
  • 4 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.
  • 2 years of experience analyzing data through statistical, quantitative modeling and forecasting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with ad sales business models.
  • Experience managing complex projects across multiple functions and product areas with strong project management skills.
  • Understanding of the YouTube ecosystem (e.g., viewers, creators, advertisers) and products.
  • Strong investigative mindset, strategic thinking, clear communication, attention to detail and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and synthesize user feedback into finding products that can use and translate complex product offerings simply for users.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, and impeccable business judgment.

About the job

The YouTube Business Product Activation team is responsible for bringing products to market and the market to produce. The team will work closely with both business and product leaders to scale adoption of YouTube products across the partner and creator ecosystem. The core capabilities of the team include identifying and prioritizing product activation opportunities across the business, ensuring launch readiness, defining and driving execution on product activation across segments, understanding the needs of partners and creators to provide Product teams with market feedback and prioritization to shape product roadmaps, developing content strategy, and tracking performance.

The YouTube Partner Sales Go-To-Market Strategy (GTMS) team is responsible for the performance of our YouTube Partner Sales program which spans TV, film, news, music, kids, and creator ecosystem partners. Our Partner Sales team creates and maintains the program architecture, develops go-to-market strategies, and supports our strategic partner managers and YouTube partner sellers to improve their selling capabilities across the full suite of YouTube products (e.g., YouTube main, YouTube TV, primetime channels, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the EMEA Partner Sales go-to-market strategy, aligning cross-functional executive stakeholders and driving core product and business priorities.
  • Partner with Product, Finance, and Content teams to shape product roadmaps, craft launch communications, and synthesize global market feedback into actionable strategies.
  • Develop reports identifying critical user/partner issues and business opportunities to influence Product team prioritization.
  • Manage high-stakes C-level presentations and oversee the full lifecycle of agreement evaluations and internal approval processes.
  • Lead cross-functional working groups and optimize project tracking while driving sales activation alongside Strategic Partner Managers and regional sellers.
