Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or graduate degree.
  • 10 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory.
  • Experience in sales or product strategy in traditional or digital advertising.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships and gain alignment among diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and design creative solutions to challenges.

About the job

The Go-to-Market Operations (GTM) team ensures that Google's ads business runs smoothly. The team is responsible for setting the go-to-market strategy and guiding execution and operations against the strategy. In this role, you will be focused on aligning the company priorities with day-to-day operations, while also helping to evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

The Product Operations team sits within the Global Sales Activation (GSA) team, and is responsible for leading strategy across business operations, governance, legal compliance, sales enablement, and measurement and analytics. GSA resides within the Go-to-Market Operations (GTM) team and enables Google’s Business Organization (GBO) to drive customer success.

As Program Management Manager on the GSA Operations team, you will lead a team to support GSA’s assignments, channel, and innovation programs. You will propose creative data-driven approaches to drive sales and operations excellence and will collaborate with other leaders in GSA and various business lines to influence senior executive decision-making using fact-based insights.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$261,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Set the idea and strategy within the GSA Operations team.
  • Deliver business impact for Google by setting, communicating, and achieving team priorities that support organizational goals.
  • Drive operational excellence for GSA through innovating, improving, and automating processes.
  • Develop cross-functional partnerships with other go-to-market teams, and product and engineering teams.
  • Set expectations, provide feedback and coaching, and invest development in team members.
