Recruiting Manager, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience full-cycle recruiting in an agency or corporate setting.
  • 5 years of experience in people management, supervision, or a team leadership role.
  • 3 years of experience influencing and managing multiple stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in people management, with a proven track record of effectively setting a clear goal and strategy to drive impact in dynamic environments.
  • Experience delivering in a complex, multi-stakeholder matrixed environment and success in collaborating with and influencing executive leaders across strategy and execution.
  • Experience in directly managing executive client relationships, fostering partnerships and ensuring consistent stakeholder management.
  • Experience within a recruitment or talent acquisition organization for multi-region businesses, understanding their unique needs and challenges.

As the Recruiting Manager, you will shape the overall strategy to hire exceptional talent across all business units within Google Cloud India. You will be accountable and responsible for Country Cloud hiring delivery, leading a team consisting of Recruiting Leads, People Managers and Individual Contributor (IC) Recruiters. You will ensure that Cloud is able to identify, engage, and hire talent, meeting planned and evolving demand across India locations.

As trusted advisors to India’s Cloud leadership and its hiring managers, you and your team provide guidance on the external talent market and its comparison to the talented Google Cloud employees within the organization. With your knowledge of the external talent landscape and deep understanding of Google Cloud's business priorities, you oversee the creation of search strategies and manage engagements, positioning Google Cloud for current success.

You will develop strong relationships across the organisation, working collaboratively with key business and functional leaders, clients and peers to drive results for your team and Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute a comprehensive strategy and goal for the India Cloud Recruiting team, transforming that goal into reality.
  • Foster a dynamic people-leadership role, nurturing the team's growth, and extending strategic and operational support to clients and the Cloud Recruiting team.
  • Leverage data and market insights to influence and guide both your team and stakeholders, managing informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with Google's executive leaders in various business units and across People Experience (PX) to comprehend and fulfill their talent requirements.
  • Cultivate creative thinking and effective communication to convey ideas and strategies clearly. Implement appropriate client management and communication strategies, promoting accountability, operational excellence, and managing through effective leadership.
