Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, or 5 years with advanced degree.
- Experience in the consumer electronics, auto, OEMs, telecom, e-commerce/retail, apps, ads, gaming, or technology industries.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across multiple levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience leading cross-functional partnership initiatives with an impact on business outcomes.
- Ability to identify, evaluate, and prioritize partnership opportunities that align with business objectives.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with an ability of securing favorable terms and building consensus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to and influencing the executives.

The Strategic Partnerships Manager role is an opportunity to work closely with Education technology companies to co-build and co-develop leading solutions on ChromeOS. You will have the chance to drive ChromeOS adoption in the Education (EDU) space by building partnerships, advocating for customer needs, and contributing to the exciting future of two computing platforms, ChromeOS and Android.You will work across Google’s education products like Classroom, ChromeOS and Android to drive partnerships that increase our impact, build new solutions for educators and create value across the ecosystem for laptops. You will work across Product, Go-To-Market, and other cross-functional teams to develop partnership strategies that drive the growth of our products and business. You will have excellent business acumen and knowledge of education and technology, you will drive our partnerships and partner programs. You will be responsible for managing a partner ecosystem that integrates with Google for Education tools, builds on Google Cloud, and partners with our teams in various ways.The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$204,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Manage product partnerships for ChromeOS in the education and edtech space, from strategy and negotiation through execution and ongoing management of the partner.
- Secure commitments from partners to co-build and migrate to a future platform or launch new product features and develop joint business plans with partners that deliver opportunities to grow both Google and our partners’ impact in education.
- Develop and execute programs and offerings that enable our partners, while working closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. legal, product, marketing, etc.) as we co-build and execute with partners.
- Collaborate with ChromeOS Product and Go-to-Market Teams to define partnerships goals, focused on launching new products and features, platform migration and driving the go-to-market strategies.
- Drive internal and external communication of goals and achievements, and influence product roadmap by providing market or industry insights.
