Principal Video Lead - Food, Beverage and Restaurants

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles.
  • Experience working with digital organizations.
  • Experience identifying client’s challenges to defining customer and product strategy, enabling long-term opportunities.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in video solutions, including knowledge of the engaged landscape (e.g., competing media platforms).
  • Experience in Project management and leading complex tactical and operational initiatives.
  • Ability to develop and deliver narratives.
  • Ability to present, executives and communicate with the sales team.
  • Excellent problem-solving, investigative and business decision-making skills with the ability to communicate fluently.

In this role, you will be developing a deep understanding of Food, Beverage and Restaurants advertisers, and how decisions are made. Your knowledge of the engaged market and the sales process helps you articulate where Google’s products fit, and collaborate with the Sales and other cross-functional teams to effectively position our offerings and capitalize on the growth potential.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $135,000-$203,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Industry Directors and vertical sellers to provide business driving support, through deep industry/business knowledge, product expertise and go-to- market strategy.
  • Support annual vertical video strategy, gain agreement across stakeholders and collaborate with the Salesforce to execute.
  • Lead the Project management of key video plays and communications to ensure consistent and well executed deployment at scale.
  • Influence cross functional stakeholders across sales and product based on business rationale, advertiser needs and business opportunity for the sector.
  • Represent product gaps and opportunities to Video Product Specialists and Go-to-market to accelerate business opportunity.
