Document Control Specialist, Raxium

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality or Manufacturing Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in document control, records management, or administrative roles, including experience with electronic document management systems (eDMS).
  • 1 year of experience with documentation in a semiconductor research and development or manufacturing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience with semiconductor manufacturing document control activities.
  • Experience with International Quality Standards (ISO9001 etc.) and in ensuring compliance with these standards.
  • Experience with Product Life-cycle Management (PLM) systems, such as Agile PLM, Windchill, or equivalent PLM systems.
  • Experience within quality systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to manage large volumes of documents efficiently and systematically, with accuracy in handling document information and maintaining proper filing systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to analyze and write technical documents.

As a Document Control Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and ensuring document control procedures, validating the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of documents, and supporting compliance efforts across the Raxium development and manufacturing organization.Google's Raxium display group has established a revolutionary semiconductor materials display technology that enables new functionality in display products, bringing to users a closer and more natural linkage between the digital and physical realms in applications such as augmented reality (AR) and light-field display. With start-up roots and a state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab in Silicon Valley, Raxium is seeking to build upon its engineering team with an aim to disrupt next-generation display markets.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $115,000-$166,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Extend and enhance existing document control procedures for microLED display development and manufacturing.
  • Act as administrator for the change control process, collaborating with the board and relevant cross-functional individuals to release change notices, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
  • Provide training and support employees in creating controlled documents and in document control processes.
  • Manage records in accordance with schedules and conduct audits to ensure compliance with document control policies, including tracking document changes and revisions through version control and distributing documents to relevant stakeholders.
  • Work with the Information Systems team in migrating documents to an Electronic Data Management System (eDMS).
