Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with instructional design principles and processes.
  • 2 years of experience with Sales Training or Sales/Product Enablement.
  • 2 years of experience in stakeholder and project management at a global scale within the Learning and Development space or 2 years of experience as an instructor, in curriculum development, or as a professional educator.
  • Experience in leading curriculum development initiatives cross-functionally, managing stakeholders and running multiple projects or work-streams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA, Master's degree in instructional design or a related field.
  • Experience with Learning design or strategy in higher education, EdTech, or corporate learning spaces.
  • Experience designing and implementing product/Business Intelligence learning programs for business organizations, including training for internal and external audiences.
  • Experience managing 3rd party vendors to deliver learning design execution.
  • Knowledge of Google ads product suite, seller tools and workflows.
  • Excellent business judgment with ability to formulate hypotheses, design tests and use problem-solving techniques to evaluate the business impact of learning interventions.

About the job

As an xGBO (Cross Global Business Organization) Learning Specialist, you will lead the planning, design, and implementation of enablement programs across service channels for Google’s suite of product solutions. You will use data and design thinking to deliver business results through building multimodal learning experiences. You will join a team that develops and delivers business skills and knowledge, product enablement and business-supporting initiatives to our customer facing teams including sales, customer engineers, and professional services. You will work across all relevant stakeholders (product, sales, service, marketing, enablement, learning) to secure buy-in for inclusive learning solutions to support front-line sales product capabilities/learning needs. You will ensure proper landing and execution of programs globally supporting business objectives and enabling individual growth.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000-$154,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholder teams (e.g. Product, Sales, Go-to-Market, Marketing, Engineering, Tools, etc.) to identify learning needs, define business objectives, and develop product and business intelligence learning solutions for the Google Ads product suite.
  • Apply design thinking and creative problem-solving to develop innovative and engaging, global multimodal, learning experiences that incorporate product knowledge and business intelligence to drive improved business outcomes.
  • Manage complex learning projects, including scoping, prioritization, timelines, and resourcing, ensuring alignment with business objectives and learner needs.
  • Analyze learner data, business drivers, and operating metrics to identify areas for improvement, optimize learning content and delivery and measure the effectiveness of learning programs.
  • Analyze learning processes and stakeholder feedback to identify potential issues and uncover/prioritize levers for improvement; implement suggested improvements across the team.
