Industry Head, Large Customer Sales (Urdu, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, media, or working with advertising agencies.
  • Experience influencing or selling to C-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Urdu fluently to communicate with and serve Urdu speaking customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience using Google and YouTube advertising solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Pakistan's technology and advertising landscape, with strong understanding of Pakistan’s Gaming, Fintech, and Mobile apps industries.
  • Ability to identify opportunities, take initiative, and drive results across multiple teams with minimal guidance and formal support.
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrate a genuine commitment to contributing to the growth and development of Pakistan's Tech industry, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and navigate ambiguity effectively.

Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As Industry Head for Pakistan market, you may be required to work as an individual contributor or asked to lead and coach high-performing account teams that use consultative skills to understand our advertisers' needs and deliver measurable solutions. You will also work with the Sales Leadership team to set strategic objectives and drive the day-to-day operations for the business. You'll help the team deliver on ambitious goals and partner directly with clients to exceed business and merchant growth goals across markets and industries. This role requires flexibility to accommodate extensive and regular travel to Pakistan, to effectively support customers in the market.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to grow Google's presence in Pakistan with higher focus on key sectors like Gaming, Mobile Apps, and Fintech Industries.
  • Manage business growth and encourage the utilization of Google as the major media channel for our partners. Understand and solve client issues proactively and creatively, and constantly strive for improvement.
  • Build an advertising sales operation capable of providing excellent service to Google’s advertisers and agencies with a collaborative approach. Lead and develop strategic agreements.
  • Manage relationships with a large set of stakeholders. Lead sales portfolio, operate as an independent contributor or managing teams across various workflows crossing strategy development to core sales execution.
  • Represent the Google Brand proposition both internally through leadership engagements and externally (e.g., customers, agencies, conferences).
