Global Vendor Operations Lead, GCP Support

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
  • 8 years of relevant work experience in vendor strategy and operations, either in vendor management (e.g., client-side) or vendor delivery (e.g., supplier-side).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in executing operational initiatives within a global team.
  • Experience in technologies, such as leveraging GenAI tools in your day-to-day, to enhance the quality, effectiveness and creativity of your deliverables.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

As a Global Vendor Operations Lead for GCP Support in the Vendor Management Office, you will oversee a portfolio of vendor operations and partnerships to drive GCP Support performance. You will be accountable for vendor strategy, quality of service, and the execution and governance of regulated workflows. You will be part of a changing environment and global team, looking to transform service quality globally for Google Cloud customers.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a vendor network across different sites or products, ensuring the compliant execution of regulated workflows.
  • Own and manage the relationships with the vendor service providers; own service delivery performance, partnering closely with suppliers and internal Google Cloud teams.
  • Lead regular business reviews, ensuring sites or products are meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Identify operational gaps using a data-driven approach and develop solutions to address these in collaboration with vendor sites and business stakeholders.
  • Understand end-to-end processes impacting the operation (e.g., contracting, finances, capacity, workflows, etc.) and support the relevant stakeholders driving these efforts.
