Technical Solutions Consultant, YouTube, Partner Sales Enablement (English, Spanish, Portuguese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering, or technical consulting.
  • Experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
  • Ability to communicate in English, Spanish or Portuguese fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with the Ads ecosystem, GAM, FreeWheel, monetization options for display and video, and video related technologies.
  • Experience supporting large broadcasters in live streaming or developer operations position.
  • Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience in customer-facing roles, product implementations, technical solutions consulting, or technical sales, with an ability to absorb technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience.
  • Understanding of the digital media industry and buying methods.
  • Demonstrated track record of maintaining high productivity, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple workstreams simultaneously with strict attention to detail.

About the job

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.

You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

The Partner Sales Enablement team at Google is primarily the technical support team for partners within the Program. In this role, you will be a key technical expert and advisor, acting as a crucial link between YouTube's ad technologies and our partners and helping them maximize their revenue on the platform. You will play a crucial role in providing technical support, proactive consultation, and implementation guidance to ensure our partners can effectively leverage our products and features.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and deliver outstanding customer service, troubleshooting, and innovative, scalable solutions for strategic YouTube Partner Sellers' Sales and Advertising Operations (Ad Ops) teams.
  • Act as the engagement manager, taking responsibility for the success of YouTube Partner Sellers and delivering innovative, scalable solutions to video publishers.
  • Educate partners on YouTube platform ad policies, restrictions, and specifications, including technical knowledge of ad serving in Ad Manager 360. This includes developing training materials and documentation.
  • Work cross-functionally with YouTube’s Content Partnership team, the Partner Sales team in YouTube/Video, and other stakeholders in Ad Manager 360 (AM360), Legal, and Product to drive overall Partner business.
  • Provide partner feedback to help Product and Engineering teams make better-informed decisions regarding product roadmaps. Manage tool development to automate and improve monitoring capabilities, reducing the risk of customer-impacting issues or outages.
