Senior Program Manager, Cloud Expansion

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 5 years of experience in data center program management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in AI/ML infrastructure, power and machine demand, and supply planning.
  • Experience with modeling and analytics to construct business analysis and extract data from systems.
  • Ability to synthesize material for audiences via executive communications, presentations, dashboards, and documentation.
  • Excellent analytical, financial, and risk-management skills, with the ability to synthesize diverse data.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. As a Program Manager on the Cloud Expansion team, you will lead and multi-disciplinary projects using technical knowledge (e.g., Cloud infrastructure planning and delivery). You will plan, drive, and deliver solutions for scale, and use data-driven decision making to enable customers to succeed with their AI/ML workloads by overseeing projects through their entire lifecycle.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$248,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage ownership of multi-disciplinary programs/portfolio.
  • Own the schedule, manage cross-functional teams, and drive projects through their entire lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with internal customers to define requirements and deliver solutions that scale.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and escalate issues.
  • Use data and analytics to track progress, inform decisions, and optimize infrastructure expansion strategy.
