Private Equity and Venture Capital Partner Manager, Google Customer Solutions

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in advertising, marketing, consulting, media, or business development, with a focus on digital advertising and performance marketing.
  • Experience working with startups or venture capital/private equity firms.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
  • Experience working with and influencing C-level executives and cross-functional teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or other advanced degree.
  • Proven success in strategic sales, including effective questioning, objection handling, storytelling, and managing a sales portfolio to consistently exceed goals.
  • Expertise in managing digital advertising campaigns, focusing on both performance and brand marketing.
  • Deep understanding of Venture Capital and Private Equity business models, investment strategies, and operational dynamics.

The Private Equity and Venture Capital Partner team enables investors to effectively leverage Google’s advertising suite to grow portfolio and startup companies' businesses. The team bridges the gap between the investment community and Google, empowering investors and their portfolio companies to thrive in the age of AI and achieve sustainable growth.

This is an opportunity to join a newly established team at the forefront of Google's engagement with the investment community across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). As a Partner Manager, you'll leverage executive influence to drive scalable marketing initiatives for Google’s customers and investor partners. You'll collaborate with a diverse portfolio of investors throughout EMEA to develop and execute business strategies.

This position uniquely combines strategic partnership development with the opportunity to shape a new program within Google, offering a dynamic role at the intersection of technology and investment across the EMEA region.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with investors by creating joint business plans, aligning on objectives, and identifying opportunities. Influence senior stakeholders (e.g. C-level) with data-driven insights to articulate Google’s value and drive impactful collaborations.
  • Drive impact across investor-backed companies by designing and executing scalable marketing initiatives. Leverage Google’s tools and expertise to identify opportunities, optimize full-funnel marketing strategies, and achieve milestones.
  • Empower investors and their portfolio companies to harness AI-powered advertising for optimized performance and sustained growth.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align strategic priorities and deliver a cohesive experience for investors and their portfolio companies. Facilitate collaboration across a range of stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects and initiatives.
  • Shape Google’s Private Equity and Venture Capital program as a thought leader and advocate. Build an innovation-driven ecosystem that delivers value for investors and startups.
