Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in promoting education, state and local government.
  • 5 years of experience in cyber security, cloud security, security architecture or incident response.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time as needed.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience planning, pitching, and executing business and customer transformation strategies leveraging data and analytics.
  • Experience working under tight deadlines while providing excellent engagement and team support.
  • Knowledge of the public sector cyber security landscape.
  • Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and mentor talent to achieve broader organizational goals.
  • Ability to quickly learn, adapt to, and implement emerging technologies and methodologies within the Cloud, IT, and Security space.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$200,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with public sector customers as a trusted security and compliance advisor to identify cloud-related friction points and rally internal teams toward solutions.
  • Work with customers and partners to define joint initiatives and co-create cloud security transformation journeys, collaborating across Google’s product areas.
  • Advocate for Google security innovation and translate it into actionable adoption steps while acting as a mentor to the wider security and compliance community.
  • Create value and volume security, campaigns, programs, and solutions.
