  • Ability to think strategically and align team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with business goals.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills for engaging various stakeholders and ability to focus on continuous service evolution.

About the job

As an AI Hub Services Lead, you will be a key driver of Google Cloud's success in Japan. In alignment with the Global Pitch and Proposal Hub team's direction, you will manage a local vendor team to provide essential support for all Google Cloud Japan Go-To-Market (GTM) activities. This includes creating compelling proposals and presentations, responding to Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP), building UI/UX for AI demos and applications for unique customer opportunities, and conducting in-depth customer and industry research. You will understand the strategic direction of the Japan Cloud team. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with GTM teams, including executives, Sales, Customer Engineer, Professional Services, and the Partner team. By actively engaging with these teams, you will stay informed on their needs and the status of critical projects, enabling you to guide the vendor team with strategic suggestions. You will ensure the pitch and proposal hub functions as a highly effective tool that significantly boosts the productivity and impact of its users.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with Google Cloud Japan's GTM leadership to align the hub's priorities with business strategy and increase awareness of its capabilities.
  • Oversee and manage the vendor team's day-to-day operations to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of requests. Implement productivity improvements based on operational performance and advise on team capability enhancements.
  • Direct the team in thorough research on customer accounts, industry verticals, and key regional practice areas.
  • Ensure timely delivery of sales proposals, presentations, RFI/RFP responses, and UI/UX for AI demos.
  • Track and measure the Hub's impact on GTM productivity and business contribution, driving course correction on key Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
