Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in consumer product management, including taking technical consumer products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, 0-to-1, etc.).
- 5 years of experience with Search and Discovery product management (ML, recommendations systems, ranking, experimentation methodologies).
- Experience in data analysis, leveraging product metrics to optimize algorithms, and information retrieval infrastructure.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
- Experience or passion for Live streaming and video content creation.
- Experience with content recommendation systems.
- Experience working on products that support a creator economy.
- Experience with short-form video creation tools found within popular platforms.

Responsibilities
- Lead Search and Discovery product strategy, responsible for outlining goals and delivering significant and predictable annual topline impact for all YouTube Live.
- Act as the primary bridge to core YouTube S&D teams by advocating for, negotiating, and integrating Live discovery mechanics into core surfaces like the YouTube Home Feed, Search infrastructure, and Watch Next models.
- Build technically sophisticated perspectives on recommendation systems, ranking models, and information retrieval infrastructures, partnering with engineering to push the boundaries of real-time personalization.
- Secure executive buy-in across fragmented product organizations, aligning stakeholders behind a cohesive, high-velocity roadmap.
- Keep a continuous pulse on the shifting live streaming and creator economy landscapes to rapidly turn competitor advantages or inefficiencies into YouTube feature innovations.
