Policy Enforcement Manager, General Misinformation, YouTube

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in data analytics, cybersecurity, technology research, anti-abuse, policy or related fields, with a focus on policy assessment/enforcement.
  • Experience with operations such as scaled/sales operations, vendor management, process or organizational optimization.
  • Experience with SQL building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or scripting/programming language (e.g., Python).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in content policy, anti-abuse and reviewing online content.
  • Experience in the misinformation or elections space.
  • Experience identifying abuse trends or working in news or policy.
  • Excellent investigative skills, including using data to drive strategy and business action.
  • Excellent business acumen, influencing, and communication skills to build relationships with cross-functional partners across geographies.
  • Passion for international issues, including freedom of expression, online controversial content, misinformation, cyber crime, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Enforce YouTube’s misinformation content policies and ensure high quality policy enforcement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders on misinformation issues and clearly communicate initiatives to the broader organization, including local teams.
  • Manage escalations in the misinformation space while ensuring high quality enforcement and clear communication with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Execute elections integrity strategy across YouTube in close partnership with cross-functional stakeholders, while staying up-to-date on key trends and patterns for global elections.
  • Develop and operationalize misinformation policies and workflows for YouTube Trust and Safety.
