Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 13 years of experience in brand marketing for a consumer brand or creative agency.
  • Experience developing and launching global brands and campaigns in a changing environment.
  • Experience guiding creative development with both external agencies and internal teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent skills in brand building, brand platforms, and product positioning.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Passion for the technology industry and an understanding of Google's core products.

About the job

The Subscriptions and Customer Growth Marketing team helps consumers unlock the full value of Google through our key products, including Google One subscriptions, Google Photos, and Google Fi.

In this role, you will be a senior creative and brand leader to drive horizontal brand and creative work across our portfolio of high-priority products. You will be an innovative problem-solver who is passionate about building brands and developing strong creative campaigns for daily active users.Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $211,000-$297,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new brand marketing and creative strategies to engage our users in the mid to lower funnel to take action across Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as consideration to conversion.
  • Manage creative development and production of brand/social campaigns, brand strategies, marketing programs and activations tailored to different audiences, markets and business needs by working cross functionally and with external agency partners
  • Ensure creative excellence and consistency in brand visual identity, brand messaging and communications across all touchpoints.
  • Demonstrates understanding of Google Grade principles and is able to ensure all work supports and builds the Google brand.
  • Partner closely with key and other executive Google marketing cross functional team members and external agency partners to ensure alignment on key milestones across the creative/campaign development process.
