Senior Product Quantitative Researcher, Cloud Security

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in product research in an applied research setting, or similar.
  • 4 years of experience in data analysis, data science, product analytics, or a related role.
  • Experience in programming languages used for data manipulation and computational statistics (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB, C++, Java, or Go).
  • Experience extracting and manipulating data from relational databases using SQL.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and experiment design and analysis.
  • Experience with datasets and distributed computing systems (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Flume).
  • Experience with machine learning techniques and libraries.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., business intelligence platform, Looker).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000-$231,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market, and Post-Sales leadership to solve critical business questions through data-driven analysis.
  • Conduct in-depth search analyses and statistical modeling to uncover user trends, predict outcomes, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Design and monitor core performance dashboards to track product health, user engagement, and key business results.
  • Build and maintain scalable SQL/Python pipelines to aggregate and enrich data, ensuring high quality and investigative excellence.
  • Translate findings into actionable recommendations for various audiences while contributing to team infrastructure and investigative standards.
