People Consultant (English, French)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 7 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist providing consultations to the business on topics such as performance management, workplace concerns, etc.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in process and product improvement in HR domain.
  • Ability to communicate in English and French fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Human Resource (HR), people programs, or other large-scale people related roles.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and with coaching and mentoring others.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, customer service, people management, consultation, teamwork and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver consultations around a variety of Human Resource (HR) topics aligned to the HR Menu of Services such as performance management, manager/leader effectiveness, manager capability development, absence management, talent management, reorganization and DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion). 
  • Deploy HR programs and processes for a Business Area, Product Area or the Belgian market via consultations.
  • Design, identify, recommend, and advance long-term, scalable and simplified solutions to drive continuous improvements in people processes, asking for input or buy-in from more executive leaders when needed.
  • Identify and lead market specific HR programs and initiatives in line with the respective Belgian HR market plan.
