Global Security Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Security Sales (English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in a technical customer-facing role such as pre-sales engineer, solutions architect, technical sales, or consultant roles.
  • Experience with security operations solutions, such as SIEM (Security Information Event Management), SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response), threat intelligence, or vulnerability management.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, as required.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to communicate in this customer-facing sales role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certifications in Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or other relevant security certifications.
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
  • Experience developing and delivering technical presentations or content enablement.
  • Experience with scripting and query languages, such as Python, YARA, YARA-L, SPL, SQL.
  • Knowledge of Cloud's security portfolio, including SecOps, Mandiant, and VirusTotal.

The Global Security Architect Security Operations Team focuses on expanding the reach of Google Cloud's threat detection and response solutions. This team acts as the experts, providing guidance and coaching to Customer Engineers, with technical expertise to support strategic opportunities and long-term security partnerships with global customers. In this role, you will engage with regional leads, develop enablement content, influence product roadmaps, and evangelize Google Cloud's security solutions to customers and partners. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of Google Cloud Security by working with cutting-edge technology and impacting the security posture of the largest and most strategic customers globally.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with regional and GEO managers to understand market trends, collect feedback on product performance, and identify strategic opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations, demos, and enablement content for internal teams and external audiences, showcasing the value of Google Cloud's Security Operations solutions.
  • Engage with key customers to build long-term relationships, understand their security needs, and guide them through the adoption of Google Cloud's Security Operations offerings.
  • Be a trusted advisor to product management, providing prioritized feedback and insights to shape the roadmap of Google Cloud's Security Operations solutions.
  • Drive the creation and maintenance of threat-focused content for demo environments, ensuring that customer-facing teams have access to up-to-date resources.
