Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in digital marketing, specifically in social media management or digital content strategy.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience using social media publishing and listening tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Sysomos).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with Business-to-Business (B2B) Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) brands or productivity tools, with an understanding of both enterprise and consumer audiences.
  • Experience modeling AI-first execution by using generative AI tools to support content development or operational efficiency.
  • Experience creating content for technical or business audiences, with the ability to translate complex product features into engaging social narratives.
  • Excellent investigative skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights for marketing strategy.
  • Passionate for scaling best practices and growing in ambiguity.
  • Proven track record of managing social campaigns across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and YouTube.

In this role, you will sit within the Integrated Marketing organization, which drives sustainable growth by creating connected, customer-first experiences. As part of the Awareness & Consideration team, you will focus on shifting awareness and perception while ensuring consistency in how the Google Workspace brand shows up across channels.

As the Social Media Manager for Google Workspace, you will drive the day-to-day execution of our global social media strategy across channels such as LinkedIn, TikTok, and Social Media Platform. Operating as a key individual contributor, you will bridge the gap between B2B enterprise marketing and consumer-facing brand love, helping to position Google Workspace as the leader in AI for work.

Additionally, you will collaborate with Product Marketing, Brand, Creative, and Regional teams to transform product messaging into "channel-first" creative assets. You will manage the editorial calendar, oversee community engagement, and leverage social listening to surface business-relevant insights. You will model AI-first execution by utilizing Google’s tools to accelerate content creation and campaign workflows, while activating paid and earned influencers to amplify priority moments. You will work with minimal assistance to manage medium-to-large scale campaigns, ensuring our social voice is human, helpful, and innovative.Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Execute the global social media strategy and manage the editorial calendar to ensure a consistent content drumbeat for enterprise and end-users.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop "channel-first" content and model AI-first execution using generative tools to accelerate development.
  • Monitor community engagement and social listening via tools like Sprinklr to surface business insights, sentiment trends, and optimization opportunities.
  • Support integrated global campaigns by managing social timelines, organizing assets, and coordinating with regional teams to maximize reach.
  • Design scalable employee advocacy programs to activate 20,000+ internal brand advocates and deliver analytics reports demonstrating business Return on Investment (ROI).
