Sales Manager, Google Customer Solutions (English, Italian)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of sales experience in the technology, advertising, or internet space.
  • Experience partnering with SMB clients in the digital ads market.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Italian fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with managing and inspiring high performing sales teams against quotas, and in brand performance at scale.
  • Knowledge of the Italian ecosystem and experience working with clients on the Italian market.
  • Ability to own sales team operations, including portfolio management, team building, KPI measurement, execution.
  • Ability to model and coach behaviors including C-level engagement, effective questioning, objection handling.
  • Ability to influence executive stakeholders, including passion for consultative solutions sales with a drive to innovate.
  • Independent with the ability to work in a changing environment, proactive, can-do attitude, follow-through, resourcefulness, attention to detail, excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

As a Sales Manager on the SBS team, you'll lead, coach and motivate a high-performing team to use consultative sales skills to understand our advertisers' needs and deliver solutions that grow their businesses. You will own relationships and partner directly with clients to deliver sustainable solutions. You will accelerate business growth and think strategically about the business segment while working cross-functionally with partner teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the management, operations, training, coaching, and support of a team of GCS SBS Engage Account Strategists.
  • Manage, inspire, and motivate a team of client-facing and high-performing Googlers, supporting career development and growth.
  • Deliver business growth, engagement, and ensure high client satisfaction. Meet or exceed goals associated with these objectives, including OKRs and relevant product adoption goals.
  • Be able to strengthen client relations through key C-level meetings, reviews, and speaking engagements.
