Strategic Partnerships Development Manager (French, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Mobile Network Operator/OEM industry.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
  • Ability to communicate in English and French fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in market or business development, engaging with telco channels, retailers, OEMs, Pay-TV industry, building business plans and negotiating agreements, driving growth through strategic thinking and deep partnerships.
  • International consulting experience with app/content ecosystem knowledge.
  • Ability to represent Google in agreement discussions and structure terms to achieve strong ongoing partner alignment.
  • Ability to interpret legal documents and work with attorneys on specific contract language.
  • Ability to analyze and structure complex agreements with excellent negotiation and execution skills.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with product/technical and business teams.

About the job

As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you'll open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions and evaluate/develop business opportunities. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership and serve as a mentor to managers and associates. You are comfortable escalating and presenting business development strategies and key issues to senior management. You'll work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales teams on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships that support our online advertising business.

The Platform and Devices Partnerships team at Google manages the Android ecosystem. We help partners realize the mutual benefit from making, distributing and connecting Android-based products for users throughout the world. Our team's mission is to grow premium Android users sustainably, driving delightful Android experiences and enable higher business generation through technology and commercial partnerships.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities to grow and monetize the Android ecosystem, aligning with Google’s Platform and Devices strategic goals to expand Android's reach and engagement.
  • Cultivate strong relationships (executive and working level) with partners across the Central European region - acting as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor across the Platforms and Devices book of business.
  • Drive operational accuracy in all aspects of our partnership: regular business reviews, deals integration, escalations management, etc. Serve as the main conduit for partner feedback and insights.
  • Lead complex, cross-functional business initiatives from conception to launch, ensuring they are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Lead the end-to-end agreement process, from identifying and creating new agreements (e.g., revenue sharing, services distribution, GTM investments, etc.) to negotiating and finalizing agreements.
