Google TV Product Activation Lead

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in digital advertising, or a related field.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing and executing digital advertising and editorial campaigns.
  • Experience driving results in a metric driven organization.
  • Understanding of the connected TV market, digital advertising platforms, networks, and technologies.
  • Familiarity with content management systems or editorial production.
  • Familiarity with pulling data, data analysis and campaign recaps.
  • Excellent partnerships, communication, and problem-solving skills.

About the job

Google TV Product Activation team (Go-to-Market) is responsible for driving business generation for the product. The team plays a pivotal role in driving new initiatives, developing long-term strategy, and influencing the product roadmap.

Google TV is redefining the TV experience to make it highly personalized, Google-smart, and content-forward to help users access the world’s media. Through recent launches like Chromecast with Google TV, we bring together the best of Google. Google TV is focused on scaling across the OEM ecosystem; working closely with third-party streaming partners plus many teams across Google (for example: Ads, Play, and YouTube); and building a business on TV platforms, OTT devices, and mobile devices. With millions of active users of our products plus being amidst the quickly evolving media and entertainment industry, there are plenty of opportunities for the team and individuals in it.

Responsibilities

  • Drive success for Google TV ads programs focused on APAC region with a priority on top markets including India, Japan and Australia.
  • Strengthen Google TV commercialization through strategic narrative updates, compelling packaging, creative program ideation and effective go-to-market initiatives.
  • Drive partner success for Google TV tentpole programs by overseeing campaign planning, execution and by providing comprehensive campaign performance updates, including regular reporting and direct communication with sellers and advertising partners.
  • Maintain partner campaign pipeline and pulse on business tracking via internal tools for APAC region.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and represent the APAC region to share market needs in order to grow Google TV business and work closely with regional Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams and video leads to educate them on Google TV offerings.
