  • 7 years of HR Business Partner or HR Generalist experience.

  • Experience implementing large-scale HR projects, risk management/mitigation and supporting change management, business readiness, communications, and training activities.
  • Excellent project management skills and delivery, ability to manage multiple simultaneous priorities.

At Google, our Market Consultant role is known for subject matter expertise in HR programs, processes and execution in their particular Market. You will have sound knowledge in company and local programs, policies, compliance procedures and offer a engaging presence around HR matters as it relates to the Market, internally and externally. They will work across multiple People Operations (POps) partners and business stakeholders to collaborate effectively and use their influencing skills as needed to represent the needs of Google.They manage multiple projects and country-specific initiatives and understand when and how to appropriately escalate decisions or urgent matters. They facilitate partner discussions and drive decisions that are good for Google and bring partners/stakeholders along with their change management skills. They also work with Market delivery teams to develop subject matter/operational expertise within a variety of service areas and maintain resource documentation, including governance, communications, and general program management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the Market HR plan.
  • Work with partners across functions.
  • Mitigate Google’s risk strategically.
  • Support the identification of high-priority and high-risk Markets needs.
  • Contribute to the deployment of high priority country focussed HR programmes and initiatives, aligned to the country People plan.
