About the job

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

The EMEA Ads Marketing Team focuses on strategies and tactics to grow and retain Google Ads customers via regional campaigns and platforms, and across a variety of Google advertising products, including Search, Display, and YouTube solutions.

In this role, you will use customer insights and data, as well as your own experience, to create the best customer experience via customer marketing programs. You will work across event strategy and execution, user experience enhancement, and infrastructure refinement. You will balance results, issues, and time-to-market in your execution, incorporating feedback from key stakeholders, delivering impact, and continuously enhancing your plans with the learnings.

You will lead the planning and execution of key external Regional (Pan-EMEA) Marketing Events, as well as coordinate local activities across EMEA markets. You will partner closely with experts in the space (Product and Sales, across different segments and channels) and Local and Global Google marketing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of high-scale external pan-EMEA regional engagements, including the development of event strategies, defining roles and responsibilities, and leading external and internal teams across multiple event workstreams.
  • Manage events, including all aspects of event logistics, from audience development strategies, content curation, production, venue management, budget management, and event responsibilities.
  • Manage multiple vendors, partners, executive sales stakeholders, and a wide range of cross-functional groups, including EMEA and local Marketing teams.
  • Analyze our events for effectiveness, conducting post-event reporting and ROI analysis, and make improvements to the customer experience by deploying meaningful enhancements across our event portfolio.
  • Drive higher efficiency by delivering actionable user insights to inform marketing engagement strategy. Influence the content and engagement strategy with executive cross-functional stakeholders by representing the user and providing data-driven performance insights.
