Human Resources Consultant, Googler Experience

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of HR Business Partner or HR Generalist experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration and drive decisions with multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Experience implementing large-scale HR projects, risk management/mitigation and supporting change management, business readiness, communications, and training activities.
  • Broad range of HR knowledge, exposure to Center of Excellence (CoE) disciplines and local Employment law.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

HR Consultants are experienced HR professionals who have sound knowledge in broad HR disciplines. They can lead change in a number of areas, including Labour relations, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), strategic capability, manager effectiveness, policy and process, culture and engagement and incident response. They offer trust around HR matters as it relates to the market, internally and externally. They will work seamlessly across multiple People Operations (POps) partners and business stakeholders to collaborate effectively and use their influencing skills as needed to represent the needs of Google.

In this role, you will manage multiple projects and country-specific initiatives and understand when and how to appropriately escalate decisions or urgent matters. You will facilitate partner discussions and drive decisions that are good for Google and bring partners/stakeholders along. You will balance the need to analyze/research thoughtfully and move quickly to action/incident response.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver dynamic consultations around a variety of Human Resources (HR) topics aligned to the POps Menu of Services such as performance enablement, team/manager/leader effectiveness, career development, diversity, equity, and inclusion, navigating transitions.
  • Contribute to the deployment of high priority country focused HR programs and initiatives, aligned to the country people plan.
  • Identify and drive recommendations and prioritization to ensure work is in service of improving the Googler Experience in the country.
  • Work with partner teams to ensure end-to-end delivery of HR processes in the country.
  • Manage employment policy and practices to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
