Head of Performance Max, gTech Ads Enablement

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product or program management.
  • 4 years of experience in people management.
  • 4 years of experience working in SQL and System Design.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing complex multi-stakeholder engagements.
  • Knowledge of Google Ads along with focused on solving business tests.
  • Knowledge of advertising solutions and the media landscape.
  • Ability to successfully manage high-performing teams and cross-functional partnerships.
  • Ability to identify and prioritize tactical business opportunities and influence leadership with excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent investigative and structured problem-solving skills.

gTech Ads is responsible for all support and media and technical services for customers big and small across our entire Ad products stack. We help our customers get the most out of our Ad and Publisher products and guide them when they need help. We provide a range of services from enabling better self help and in-product support, to providing better support through interactions, setting up accounts and implementing ad campaigns, and providing media solutions for customers business and marketing needs and providing complex technical and measurement solutions along with consultative support for our large customers. These solutions range from bespoke and customized ones for our customers to scalable support for millions of customers worldwide. Based on the evolving needs of our ads customers, we partner with Sales, Product and Engineering teams within Google to develop better solutions, tools, and services to improve our products and enhance our client experience. As a cross-functional and global team, we ensure our customers get the best return on investment with Google and we remain a trusted partner.

gTech Ads Enablement (gAE) strives to empower gTech deliver exceptional customer experience through product partnership that facilitates a dual feedback loop, tooling support, Learning and Development (L&D) and process enhancements, testing incubation to improve the quality of AI generated creatives.

The Product Practices teams within Enablement deliver quality, scale, and efficiency to how Google commercializes its ad products. Its the liaison between Product and gTech services where needed, and responsible for ensuring that Product launches and customer-facing migrations are executed. Its mission is to empower practitioners and products to deliver customer experiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$258,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against the goal of improving experiences of customers, partners, or gTech'ers and make an impact on our business or team.
  • Provide powerful, frictionless, and intuitive experiences for advertisers across all Ads to achieve their goals with confidence.
  • Influence product leadership to drive improvements to positively impact the customer experience.
  • Lead the partnership with gTech practitioners to drive operational readiness toward launches and changes. Manage and deliver on the service metrics for PMax, and drive exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Lead a team of product excellence managers and product service managers to drive impact for the gTech Ads organization.
