Google's Global Submarine Networks (GSN) team is a critical organization to expand and enhance our Global Submarine Cable Network infrastructure. Our team will ensure faster, more reliable, and more resilient connectivity for Google services worldwide. To successfully execute our goals, we need program managers with specialized skills in submarine cable systems, network operations management, security operations, network delivery, operational systems, data and quality assurance.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Assist the development and implement new Global Submarine Networks operational data and performance quality initiatives to improve network operations.
- Deliver Global Submarine Networks Digitization initiatives to deliver operational innovations and overall effectiveness.
- Deliver quality governance frameworks, and implementation of an end-to-end operational readiness testing program for new systems introduction and network operations.
- Employ and improve documentation and process control for SubSea operations programs.
- Use data analytics to identify, create and establish measures of operational excellence/quality, dashboard views across domains, cross correlation of inputs to drive operational excellence evident within the operate Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
