Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or graduate degree.
  • Experience managing and delivering project components with limited guidance.
  • Understanding of ads business across Google's product suite (search, shopping, display, YouTube, apps, measurement, etc.) and key ads competition.
  • Proven ability to identify and solve problems within a given project scope.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to distill insights from complex data and present actionable recommendations.

By reimagining workflows, activating workflows and solutions, and powering the relationship engine, we enable our customers, business, and teams to succeed.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Engage with senior stakeholders in go-to-market, product strategy, product/engineering across regions and globally. 
  • Solve problems related to the Google Ads business by leveraging a diverse skillset - desk research, interviews, data analysis, working with third-party intelligence vendors. 
  • Develop perspectives for senior leadership on core ads competitors, user/engagement trends, product updates, advertising perspectives. 
  • Implement changes to sales strategy and process based on competitive intelligence findings and recommendations. Synthesize key learnings alongside regional GTM partners and sellers.
  • Gather feedback from regional sales teams to develop insights and training materials on winning pitches, competitor product performance, Google's differentiated value proposition, and gaps to enable successful seller strategies.
