Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in quota-carrying storage-related cloud or software sales, or account management at a Business-to-Business technology company.
  • 5 years of experience selling enterprise NetApp solutions and utilizing data management concepts and technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), GCNV offering or NetApp Cloud service at other cloud providers.
  • Understanding of the industry landscape, including key trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Deep expertise with NetApp storage solutions and ONTAP software sales.
  • Established network of contacts within the Industry and ecosystem.

About the job

As the Head of Strategic Storage Sales, you will be responsible for leading a team tasked with building, growing and creating an efficient, leveraged GTM model for Google Cloud’s Storage business, beginning with Google Cloud's NetApp Volumes (GCNV) offering.

This role requires deep collaboration with Google Cloud, NetApp and Partner sales and GTM teams to develop sales pipeline, deliver target revenues and foster growth through direct, attached, and cross-selling strategies within new and existing customer accounts. You will promote the value of GCNV, enable and engage key stakeholders to accelerate GCNV business as an integral part of key verticals like Banking and Insurance, Automotive, Electronic Design Automation (EDA), Energy, Gaming, Healthcare, Software and Internet and Media & Entertainment, and for Data Management and AI applications in Google Cloud for in-Cloud and on-premises users.

You will work cross-functionally with Google Cloud's product management, engineering, and support teams to ensure successful GCNV deployments and customer satisfaction. This collaborative approach will involve gathering market feedback, identifying opportunities for product improvement, and contributing to the ongoing development of GCNV to meet evolving customer demands.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $179,000-$255,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Exceed sales targets through direct, attached, and cross-selling initiatives with Google Cloud, NetApp, and partners.
  • Create and promote solutions with Google Cloud and NetApp, addressing customer needs in key verticals like Banking/Insurance, Automotive, EDA, Energy, Gaming, Healthcare, and Software/Internet/Media.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, influencing their technology strategies as a trusted advisor.
  • Drive the sales process, adapting strategies to accelerate deals and leading virtual teams.
  • Showcase GCNV's value at customer sites, industry events, and conferences.
