Head of Sales, GMP Acquisitions and Onboarding

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience working in customer relationship development by working with digital media or digital marketing/advertising solutions.
  • 8 years of experience leading, mentoring, and developing teams.
  • 5 years of experience building partner ecosystems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders across organizational boundaries to influence across teams with similar objectives, aligning resources and direction.
  • Understanding media industry issues to advance Google's forward-looking strategies within the marketplace by being a creative and performance-minded thinker.
  • Familiarity with offline media, Brand Lift, marketing measurement and attribution techniques (e.g., offline measurement, MMM, MTA, attribution) and Google advertising products (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, business, and investigative skills, including the ability to use data to drive strategy and business action and deliver presentations to C-level and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Build the brand-new Google Marketing Platform (GMP) Acquisitions and Onboarding team by partnering with external partners and vendors across Global Customer Solutions (GCS) and Large Customer Sales (LCS) GMP sales teams. Define the team's goal, mission, and direction for growth and impact.
  • Develop C-Level relationships and generate growth from a set of key accounts.
  • Hire and nurture a team of programmatic sellers. Attract top talent and foster their development, creating a culture of excellence.
  • Build relationships with partners across Google. Collaborate with sales, product, and marketing teams to identify opportunities, share insights, and drive customer success.
  • Develop strategies to acquire new clients and ensure their seamless onboarding onto Google's programmatic platforms. Partner with cross-functional and peer leaders to serve as an industry thought leader to accelerate business growth.
