Minimum qualifications:

About the job

The goal of FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) is to create financial insights that make Google better by unpacking complex business problems to reveal opportunities, manage risk, and steward scarce resources. Our team applies this mission to Google One and Photos in coordination with the cross-finance and cross-functional teams.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on one of the largest and fastest-growing subscription services in the world, with more than 100 million subscribers. You will manage the P&L for Photos and G1, creating reporting packages with variance analysis and actionable insights. You will coordinate inputs from others, perform your own analysis and gain a holistic understanding of the business end-to-end.

You will model business scenarios and track performance metrics to ensure sustainable growth in the context of the P&L, which will be used by our leaders to make strategic product and business decisions. You’ll be a trusted advisor and financial guardian, helping G1 grow responsibly, while keeping it safe and enabling innovation. We are looking for a top performing finance professional with strong analytical skills, attention-to-detail and the ability to partner and influence across functions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Enable efficient workflows for reporting, business growth, and investments, support leadership decision making and trade-offs, and be a thought leader on payroll management, and ensure the team is on track to meet goals.
  • Manage profit and loss during annual and long range financial planning cycles, drive visibility into business performance, and resource planning decisions.
  • Review analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations or identify opportunities to drive operational excellence, deliver insights, and profitable growth.
  • Help define financial OKRs and metrics that drive the business, track key performance metrics and OKRs, present analytical findings in concise and decision-impacting manner.
  • Provide decision support and participate in business-facing projects and influence outcomes through data-driven analysis.
