As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams.
As part of the Technical Program Manager (TPgM) Global Networking Technology (GNT) team you will use the leadership skills for program management, mobilizing cross functional teams, delivering solutions data-driven decision making, to launch and take to market solutions that accelerate our customers' success in the cloud. Your passion, technical and business knowledge, and excellent organizational, communication skills will inspire our teams and establish trust amongst stakeholders and customers.
You will lead and have experience managing teams of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. You will set the direction, improve productivity, quality standards, resolve systemic problems, deliver business outcomes and impact, identify trends and implement changes.

Responsibilities
- Set direction and execution of organizational direction for broad, cross-organization projects across the Global Networking Technology team.
- Partner with the leadership engineering and product managers and to ensure Technical Program Management (TPgM) aligns with engineering and product priorities. Forecast resourcing requirements for TPgM team.
- Manage delivery across the complete portfolio of networking initiatives.
- Lead and inspire an organization of technical program managers taking ownership, driving alignment amongst software engineering, network engineering, and partner organizations spanning Technical Infrastructure.
- Lead Technical Program Management groups to improve processes, simplify execution, manage top programs and Objectives and Key Results, release on time, bring tooling efficiencies and help teams in execution.
