Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles.
  • Experience identifying and recommending scalable solutions to improve customer strategy, and working with senior leadership.
  • Experience Sales Pitching to executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience using product and domain knowledge to increase product adoption.
  • Experience identifying and recommending new processes, procedures, and methods for product adoption strategy, addressing future needs by partnering and collaborating with regional partners/stakeholders.
  • Ability to be a thought leader of Google product and competitive landscape.
  • Ability to influence and build relationships across teams and functions to address customer needs.

As a Platforms Sales Engineer, you'll work with Google's customers to help them achieve their business goals by architecting technology and data solutions that deliver marketing experiences. You will use industry and product knowledge to help consult with clients to identify how adopting Google technology and data solutions will integrate and improve their existing marketing technology architecture.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$169,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Data Transformation Leads and Google Marketing Platform Account Executives to sell new ads products and advanced marketing activations.
  • Translate technical solutions to business outcomes via storytelling, narrative building, and more for customer contacts.
  • Consult with the Platforms Sales team on best strategies and approaches to drive customer business outcomes.
  • Consult with sales and client teams to conduct discovery, design technical diagrams and guidelines intended to address specific business needs.
