Senior UX Designer, Android AI Experiences

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in product design or UX.
- Experience designing across multiple platforms, and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototypes.
- Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in visual design, UI design patterns, motion design, etc.
- 2 years of experience in design leadership.
- Ability to lead and ideate products from inception and improve features within a user-centered design process.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and knowledge of technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for platforms such as desktop and mobile, Android and iOS.
- Excellent communication skills and influencing skills for influencing product design strategy.
About the job
The AI Experiences group within Android is responsible for setting the direction for how AI manifests at an operating system level, advocating the user benefit and ensuring AI features are integrated into the Android experience.
This is an opportunity to join the team at a foundational stage. You will help shape the team's long-term strategy and roadmap. In this role, you will define the direction and scope of YouthX's work from the inception, contributing to how Android serves and connects with user groups globally.
Responsibilities
- Lead and drive ideation, design, and implementation of features across iOS, Android, and device surfaces.
- Develop user journeys, mockups, prototypes, storyboards, and presentations to communicate design ideas.
- Work with Product Manager, UX Researcher, and Marketing to strategize and build goals.
- Help shape and define the culture of a collaborative cross-functional team.
- Identify needs across the team, beyond design to help the product succeed.
