Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the consumer electronics, auto, original equipment manufacturer (OEMs), telecom, e-commerce/retail, apps, ads, gaming, or technology industries.
- 5 years of experience in semiconductor design, field applications.
- Experience with CPU, GPU, RISC-V partnerships.
- Ability to travel 10% of the time.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or other advanced degree.
- 10 years of semiconductor experience in the 3PIP management.
- Experience working with large multi-functional global teams.
- Experience in driving 3PIP leadership with cross-functional deliverables.
- Understanding of product and technology development processes and strategies.
- Excellent collaborator across multiple business units to align and execute deliverables.

Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.The 3PIP and EDA Strategic Partnerships Development team within Google’s Custom Silicon group is responsible for identifying, sourcing, and managing third-party intellectual property (3PIP) and electronic design automation (EDA) solutions. We enable cost-engaged hardware and software to deliver differentiating experiences for Google’s consumer products. The team shapes the 3PIP and EDA roadmap, optimizes costs, and manages supplier relationships to drive actionable industry insights.
In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise, business acumen, and agreement-making experience. You will act as a key interface between external partners and internal cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Legal). You will help develop and scale Google’s custom SoCs by navigating relevant semiconductor verticals and key industry players in CPU, GPU, and RISC-V industries.Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. Responsibilities
- Drive 3PIP partner engagements with lead Industry partners.
- Lead contract process from start to finish including discussing contracts, financial terms, agreement timelines, amendments and statement of work (SoWs).
- Manage suppliers on an ongoing basis with agreed upon key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Evaluate new supplier engagement opportunities and provide recommendations to the management team. Communicate and collaborate with a broad range of cross-functional constituents (product, engineering, marketing, finance, sales, legal).
- Build, maintain and evolve relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
