Senior Marketing Manager, Growth Strategy

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 9 years of experience in marketing strategy, finance, strategy consulting, or banking.
  • Experience leading and managing a team.
  • Experience working cross-functionally to design and launch programs.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or graduate degree in a management, technical, or engineering field.
  • Experience with designing and simplifying complex processes and implementing them with a well-defined rhythm and excellence.
  • Strong analytical thinking, and experience with spreadsheets, financial modeling, forecasting skills, data visualization.
  • Excellent communication presentation writing skills, or experience developing and delivering compelling narratives for executive audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple global teams within the marketing organization.
  • Excellent critical thinking and business judgment to identify and resolve complex business challenges.

About the job

In this role, you will be crucial in overseeing budget allocation and resource planning for marketing initiatives, providing clear visibility into spend and performance. You'll partner closely with Product Marketing, Analytics, and Engineering teams to streamline workflows, and to run business-critical processes that ensure resources are prioritized effectively to drive goals of the entire Growth Marketing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of marketing managers focusing on Business Growth Operations, Incentives Operations, and Pricing.
  • Drive organizational excellence for the broader Ads Growth Marketing organization by leading budget processes and ownership, resources prioritization and allocation, and revenue attainment cadences.
  • Ensure the health and growth of incentives programs by driving deep, thorough analysis of its performance, and driving large-scale optimizations of the programs’ processes
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing Managers and Finance to own and prioritize ongoing budget and headcount needs.
  • Use data to define the incentives strategy for customers throughout their journey with Google Ads products.
