Growth Consultant, Commercial Innovation Lab, LCS

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, digital media sales, business development, online media environment, or a digital marketing role, with experience contributing to new initiatives or projects, including direct involvement in pilots or experimental programs.
  • Experience in applying sales techniques, including questioning and objection handling, to support client success within pilot environments.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients, with a focus on pilot phases of new products or solutions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in launching and managing paid digital advertising campaigns, particularly in Google Ads and other digital marketing platforms, with a focus on supporting pilot initiatives.
  • Experience in managing digital marketing and advertising campaigns, projects, and relationships with customers or agencies.
  • Ability to learn and grow in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and evolving environment, particularly within the context of piloting new solutions.

The Commercial Innovation Lab (CIL), part of Central Specialisms, is a dedicated team focused on accelerating scalable revenue growth across EMEA. Our mission is to develop innovative, high-impact solutions that improve commercial efficiency and customer outcomes. As a lean, agile, and collaborative unit, CIL pilots the most commercially favourable initiatives, ensuring each effort drives measurable revenue impact. The team of eight customer-facing Account Managers brings strong commercial acumen, analytical expertise, and a track record of leading different pilots with effective stakeholder collaboration. In close partnership with Go-To-Market (GTM), we also advocate for the integration of successful innovations into regional and global Global Product Solutions (GPS) and Google Compute Engine (GCE) roadmaps.

We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. Responsibilities

  • Partner with customers and support the management of customer relationships to drive mutual business objectives within innovation pilots. Contribute to building, growing, and maintaining customer portfolios focused on high-impact and long-lasting innovation.
  • Contribute to pilot initiatives with flexibility and ownership, supporting problem-solving and new solution development.
  • Help identify growth opportunities, assess commercial impact, and collaborate with teams to support revenue, sales, or marketing efficiency.
  • Support the creation of customer-centric proposals by aligning business objectives with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and recommending suitable Google ad solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal partners and external stakeholders, contributing to strong relationships and supporting the advocacy for successful innovations to be integrated into regional or global roadmaps.
