Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
- Experience designing, building, or launching consumer-facing products.
- Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working on conversational design experiences, and GenAI tools.
- Experience in the mobile-first social application space.
- Experience in UX/UI animation.
- Experience with visual design in product or UX design environments.
- Experience creating interactive prototypes.

The YouTube Connections team is focusing on a new, high-impact area for YouTube, focused on empowering users to connect, engage, and create with their existing circles. We are seeking a talented UX Designer to join us.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Managers, Engineering, and Designers to define a user-centered goal and execute end-to-end connected experiences on YouTube.
- Produce high-fidelity mocks, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, ensuring all visual specs are polished and ready for implementation.
- Drive the product roadmap through ideation, user testing, and engaged research to stay ahead of evolving industry trends.
- Manage design workflows across multiple concurrent projects, balancing iterative updates with long-term innovation.
- Contribute to a feedback-driven creative culture while experimenting with and mastering AI tools to optimize design workflows.
