Staff Technical Solutions Consultant Manager, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in solution engineering or architecture and 5 years of experience in stakeholder management, professional services, or technical consulting.
  • 3 years of experience writing code in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).
  • 2 years of experience managing a technical team in a cloud computing environment or customer-facing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience leading IT implementations, IT support, deployments, or business development activities.
  • Experience implementing cloud or software projects in corporate environments.
  • Experience with technologies like Databases and Developer Operations, as well as in scalable application development.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure or data migrations to Cloud platforms.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and influencing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a team of architects, consultants, and engineers.
  • Consult with customers on technical issues based on product and technical knowledge.
  • Develop technical solutions and assets, and document reproducible solutions for customers and partners.
  • Provide technical implementation support in customer environments, including guidance on implementation feasibility of cross-product integrations.
  • Travel up to 15% of the time as needed per year, internationally.
