Senior Product Manager, Backup and Disaster Recovery

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
- 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
- Experience with Kubernetes and backup.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in one or more of the following: data protection, disaster recovery, storage, Relational Databases (Postgres, MYSQL), NoSQL Databases (Cassandra, MongoDB ), messaging queues (Kafka) and K-V stores (Redis) and storage technologies (block/file/object/CSI).
- Experience collaborating with open source communities.
- Familiarity with cloud native applications development platforms.

Responsibilities
- Define the strategy for Backup for Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and then deliver on that outlook.
- Be responsible for delivering the business goals, product definition, collaboration with others teams at Google and driving customer adoption.
- Expand the capability by fully realizing the business potential in this space.
- Partner with Product Managers from other parts of Google Cloud Platform (e.g., storage, databases, GKE) to solve customer use cases.
