Partner Engagement Manager, YouTube

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in TV and digital technologies and experience identifying and incorporating emerging industry standards.
  • Experience working with external partners and vendors to identify technical issues and find resolutions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience using partner facing publishing tools, CRM or other partner management systems.
  • Data Analysis experience, including oversight of partner success metrics.
  • Experience successfully negotiating partner contracts.
  • Pre-established personal network across TV and technology partners (familiarity with TV broadcast terminology and processes).

The TV and Media Solutions team accelerates YouTube’s TV and Originals businesses with stellar technology solutions, operations, and partner support, making data exchange seamless and scaling critical business processes. Our team of Partner Technology Managers, Partner Engineers, Solutions Consultants, and Program Managers manage operations and partner support for YouTubeTV and YouTube Premium.

As a YouTube Partner Engagement Manager, you will utilize your deep video technology experience, industry knowledge and existing relationships to advance YouTube’s TV strategy. You will collaborate with many cross-functional teams, both internally and externally, to deliver high quality TV experiences for our users.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $89,000-$127,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage the onboarding and ongoing operational relationships with YouTube’s strategic TV partners.
  • Ensure the long-term success of partners through high-quality partner management, including supporting partners to successfully adopt new product features.
  • Serve as the primary advocate for partners across internal teams, ensuring alignment by navigating conversations between stakeholders with potentially competing priorities.
  • Utilize TV industry relationships to identify and cultivate new YouTube TV content and technology opportunities.
  • Manage direct relationships with major TV Broadcasters, Affiliates, and Cable Networks.
